So let me just say to all the people whose blogs I read and to all my dear readers,
Anyway, moving on, today I got home to find that Noi's package finally arrived. She was so nice, sending me the sample of UDPP that she got for free along with the stuff that she bought. She also included something else--and I swear it's like she reads minds!
So pretty! I love the card stock that she wrapped the (bubblewrapped) stuff in. And the sticker!
Citre Shine anti-frizz spray laminator. THANK YOU for this, Noi, my hair has been so frizzy lately and I'm just needing something for my hair. This is perfect, I'll use it with my serum. :)
And of course the UDPP sample, 2.66mL. My first ever Urban Decay anything!
Again, thank you so much, Noia. :) I can't wait until I can send you something (and believe me it will be soon! ^_^).
So on my previous post, I mentioned that I was stuck as school when I really wanted to go to the parlor with my mom and aunt instead. Well turns out I got to go anyway--my aunt and mom were there from 12pm to 8pm (I got there at 6). I got to get a facial done...and my nails done! Can you believe I found a place where they do nail stamping? The moment I saw a Konad polish I was like. O_O!! I gotta get that done. Heheh, so now I have got pretty nails~
See?
Butterflies.
As usual, polish chipped almost immediately. But that's just because I really am just so rough with my hands. I need to find a good long-wearing polish that won't chip so fast on me.
Gia told me that there are Konad stamping sets available here. My initial reaction was "OMFG REALLY?!?" because she told me that it was pretty affordable for the basic set. I asked her to accompany me to the place...so we'll see how that goes. :)
Also... here's a completely unrelated disgusting story that happened to me today.
I was on the jeep home, and this guy that sat beside me just had the most HORRIBLE B.O. I think he realized that I could hardly breathe (well, I had my hand covering my nose), and I think he either got annoyed or has a weird thing about people smelling his funky B.O. because he kept holding onto the hand railing on the ceiling of the jeep, thus of course making the odor more...strong, I guess? Gosh, I really wanted to tell him to please stop sticking to me and practically rubbing his armpit to my face (I was next to him) but I just bent over and looked somewhere else so that the smell wouldn't be that bad.
Have you had bad experiences like that while taking public transportation? :/

When I was in the Philippines, I had a hard time riding Jeeps. Since I'm not used to it, I always hit my head on the roof when I am getting on. Hahahaha! And it would make this loud *thud* sound, and all the passengers would look at me and snicker - you know how we Filipinos do! LOL.
But the worst experience that I had was when I just gotten my tooth taken out, in this super horrible dentist in Cavite. I was so desperate to take it out. And my parents took the tricycle to the SM Dasma, and I took it back to my place and blaaaaah! I kept needing to spit the blood out, and the poor Tricycle driver kept looking at me. =(
your nails are really gorgeous!
Cheysser, omg! A couple years ago I wasn't used to riding jeeps either because I never commuted (had a school bus). So I definitely bumped my head a lot the first few times I did! Heheh. That and I never knew where to go down! XD
And whoa, omg. :( That so sucks. Imagine the rough trike ride with bleeding gums. D: Ow! At least you have that experience right? You can tell that to your kids someday. ;)
Purplesilke, thank you. :) I can't wait to get my own nail stuff. ^^
oh yes things happen like that in jeeps. anyway, you'll love UDPP! it's the best! btw, what salon did you go to for that? i have stuff from konad too but most of the time i'm quite lazy to use it.
Crystal - I know I will love UDPP, but now my problem is finding a full size one! Where did you get your Konad stuff?
Yay! a sample of UDPP! i'm sure you'll love it:) the Citre shine for hair is great too :)
Oh my on your jeep experience, that is sooooo difficult!!!
Yes, I know I will love it, definitely. :)
Yeah, it was quite difficult. :(
Thanks for dropping by!
^^ wow package.. :D i love love the nails..
i hate it when girls with long hair let their hair flutter while riding a jeep.. oh gawd i am not a HAIRvibore!!please!!
Omg, I totally know!! Those girls suck. So annoying! :(
i love the colour of your nails! so pretty.
I hate public transportation when it is full. Especially when there is someone with super bad B.O and there is nowhere to get away because the bus is so full. :(
that was nice of her :) wow at your nails! the color is really vibrant and the butterflies, cute :)
aww the BO experience. i know how it feels! gross but you can't do anything about it while you're in the jeep/bus/tricycle. haha. that happened to me a lot :)
Hey, re: your comment, no worries at all, like I said, it's just something that's been really bothering me lately.
I love your nails!! The turquoise is so pretty. And Gia's right - Konad is really really popular, I've seen a lot of girls who do their own. There are also "faux-nad" pieces which aren't from the same company, but there's an extremely popular "faux-nad" plate that has a Hello Kitty design on it, LOL.
& yes. I ride the bus a lot, and luckily the ones I take usually aren't very full, but I've definitely had that problem before. I think it annoys me even more when other college students take the bus totally reaking of weed. Like... if you're gonna be totally high, why not just stay at home???
I love turquoise :D I've seen a lot of youtube videos about Konad... I would buy it if my nails weren't so short ha.
and.. ew :D I don't use the bus that often but I have experienced that.. because I'm short and my head reaches most people's chests.. so B.O. is the first I notice >_<
WOW! the nails look gorgeyyyyy!
@-Yu- thank you! And I know, it really sucks when you can't get away from the BO. It's even worse if the bus is air conditioned cause the smell will stay there!
@Ida - I know, it was so nice of her, right? And thanks, I really love my manicure this time around. Hopefully it will last at least a week. And, everyone has to have some sort of experience w/ BO and public transportation, right? It's like... a rite of passage.
@Catherine - I'm glad I didn't upset you. And I know, Konad is really popular. I'm trying to decide between getting it and 24 colors of nail art pens though... and yes I saw the fauxnad plate from Brooke's blog! I am seriously wanting. :/ And wow at the people who reek of weed. >:/
@Crissy - I love turqoise too. :) And I think you could still do Konad even if your nails were short... And I'm short too so we're in the same boat here.
@Maggie - Thanks! :)
Oh man, Im pretty sure youll love the udpp!
To be honest I think I prefer ArtDeco over it. O.o;;
