Playing around and tagging!

I was bored today, so I was just playing around with eyeshadow. I decided not to do a full face because I'm letting my face rest from all the stuff I've been putting on it, so all I've had on today was moisturizer.

I had loads of fun playing with e/s! I used my PAC palette and MAC's Bagatelle..as primer and base I used Art Deco eyeshadow base and Elianto Shimmer e/s in Ivory (applied wet). For the highlight I used my Coastal Scents 28 neutral palette. I don't know if you can see it, but the highlight e/s has a pretty green irridescence.

You know, I realized that for me Art Deco works much better than UDPP... I mean it's easier to apply, no drying time, blending is easier, e/s practically has no fallout, lasts all day without creasing and oiling up!

Please ignore the rest of my oily un-made up face (what you can see, anyway). And my brows, omg! So messy, but I do not want to overpluck.

I got inspired by a picture of the sunset for this. :)

Your eyes are so pretty and I love the colors you chose! I notice in you 8 Things You Want To Do you mentioned move to the US (among other places). Have you ever been over here?

Gorgeous!!

And omg I know. I've heard such good things about Art Deco but I can't find it!!! UDPP only lasts ~5 hours on me... every day I have to layer MAC's paint pot on top to get 8 hours of wear with minimal creasing. I guess it works for now, but sometimes I do wish I could find ONE product that'd do it for me, you know?

@Sofee - Thanks, girl!

@Mary - Aw thanks...there are lots of things I'd love to change about my eyes though. Heheh. And yes I did say that. I have been to the US (mostly LA and San Diego) once before.

lovely look dear! you prefer art deco to UDPP? hmm. you're making me want to try art deco.

Chrissy said...

@Fun and makeup - Thanks dear. :) Practice is all it takes.:D

@Crystal - try Art Deco! Go to a counter and scoop some up from the sample jar...ask the SA if you can, just to try it first. :) Or bring UDPP so you can compare?

Thanks for following my blog :)

you have very beautiful eyes, made even more beautiful w/ the eye makeup. tried doing something similar, ended up both eyes looking different from each other. lol!!
great job!

Chrissy said...

@MizzJ - thanks. :)

@Kikay Mom - all it takes is practice!! And if you look closely, the eyes aren't perfect either. Hehe. I need to practice with making things even.

lol,
I used to want to move to the US or the UK, but now I'm lemming on living in Canada. The place is beautiful even though they say it's REALLY cold there. hehe :P

You did a great job on the eyeshadow. Love it so much!
